International Formula Racing [IFR] was established in October 2010. Our league is based on clean, fair and fun racing on Xbox Live using the latest Codemasters F1 game, with a strong roster of established members racing with us regularly. Run entirely voluntarily by gamers, our league is free to join and play. IFR has a great community spirit and with drivers of all abilities taking part, you'll find great competition throughout the grid. Now in our 3rd year, we run both a Drivers and Teams Championship with 50% length races, dynamic weather, full damage and simulations on, 'realistic' penalties and safety car in all races. All assists apart from brake assist and pit assist are permitted. New for Season 8, cars are allocated race-by-race using 2012 performance levels - with the slower drivers allowed the fastest cars, levelling the playing field a little, keeping the fast guys on their toes - and giving everyone more chance of success!

We run ONE round of our main championship per week, comprising two lobbies with the choice of racing either on Sundays at 4:00pm OR Tuesdays at 8:00pm. All races are preceded by a 15 minute qualifying session and we run 3 practice sessions over the course of the week to enable you to prepare for the races and try out your set-ups. Practices are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00pm and on Saturdays at 4:00pm, and you may participate in as many sessions as you wish [all times GMT].

The forum is a great place to discuss all league related issues, together with non-racing banter and general chat. Between seasons and during holiday breaks, we hold a variety of other events including team championships, mini championships, and other more light-hearted races where rules basically go out of the window - and also encourage members to organise their own events.
